Nature is fucked, and that’s natural

Jainism was a religion that paired with Hinduism and Buddhism. Jainists believed that to harm a bug was to disrupt the harmony within the universe. In a sense, modern ecological and natural movements constitute a more of a Neo-Jainism movement than a organic movement of maintenance. Nature is constantly in a state of resetting, and lifelessness or extinction is more natural than life. (1) The best way to avoid the extinction problem in the future is to avoid relying on nature in the future. We have to kill the planet as it is, to make a better one for nature in the future.

What do you mean by natural?

If you mean maintaining a decaying order, then everything around you is extant. Everything in a biosphere exists in relation to each other. The prey-predator relation that children are taught resists on a conscious order, predators are not conscious beings and prey is food. Predators commonly consume until prey is consumed and then the predator has to move. Humans are naturally wasteful as well. Civilizations commonly end because of over use of an environment. (2)

Leaving nature is a natural step in human development

Hunter gatherer societies left cyclical hunting and began to develop agrarian communities. Every paradigm of civilization comes from this process. Language, math, money, and societal rules all come from the development of sedentary farm based communities. Modern patterns are not different. The astronomical growth of the last 150 years is not met by a new natural order. Humanity has developed a society that waits for nature to provide for it. This either needs to change, or the social order has to change dramatically 40 years ago.

The only step left

A synthetic existence that is proactive is the only way humanity has a future. Natural order is maintained adaptation by stimulus. Millions of years of interrupted existence produces the most survivable beings. These beings are reactive and durable, they are not advanced or moral. Humanity exists as the observable anomaly in this process. It is the necessity of any species at this point to prioritize the natural order to its function. It is by mass extinction, environmental prioritization, and species optimization that humanity progresses toward stellar civilizations.

1. Every dominant species in a period faces extinction at every corner. Fish, dinosaurs, birds, and mammals all faced multiple extinction events. The last major human extinction event was escaped through either mass starvation or cannibalism (The Late Pleistocene Human Population Crash).
2. The Mayans, the peoples of Easter Island, colonists in the Americas for years, and European Gaelic groupings potentially as well. Any civilization that just disappears overnight is up for consideration in this regard.
